1. Could you briefly introduce yourself?

Hello, I am SuYong Ha, a solutions architect at MegazoneCloud. My role is to help customers meet their business needs in cloud environments and solve issues they are facing with diverse AWS services.

These days, I am working as an accelerator, using AWS services to help customers convert monolithic architecture in the IDC environment into microservice.

2. Would you tell us why the tech position is so important at MegazoneCloud?

Tech departments in an IT industry are like the spine of an organization. A spine is one of the most important parts of a human body. Similarly, a technology company needs or must need solid technical organizations and experts.

Just like building up muscles to function the spine well, MegazoneCloud is providing a lot of support to strengthen the capabilities of technical experts and organizations. We can take a variety of AWS courses in the certified in-house training center and receive support for MegazoneCloud’s own technical seminars, test environment costs, as well as financial support for obtaining cloud-related certification. I think this well proves the importance of tech positions.

3. Would you share with us the most memorable experience during the work as a technician at MegazoneCloud?

At work, I face many different customers’ issues from all different fields. I feel most proud when I manage to find out or solve issues that customers’ could not. For instance, I met a customer using VPN equipment of a global vendor connected with AWS VPN and there was an issue of disconnection once or twice a month. Due to the random/unexpected interruption, the entire work was paralyzed for a short period of time during the business hour. But through cooperation with the AWS Global service team and VPN vendor engineers, we could pinpoint and resolve the problem quite successfully. The issue happened intermittently so it took about 4 months to solve and monitor the problem. That was the most memorable moment.

1. Could you briefly introduce yourself?

Hello, everyone! I am YoungJin Park working for the AWS enterprise operation team. The Enterprise team is mainly in charge of infrastructure of finance, e-commerce and manufacturing industry. Responding to customers’ inquiry, monitoring and identifying the cause and solving the problem are the main tasks.

2. Would you tell us why the tech position is so important at MegazoneCloud?

The reason I felt attracted to the operation position is that there is a certain level of pressure all the time. You can be like ‘why do they feel pressure when working on the computer?’. However, as I mentioned earlier, one of my tasks is infrastructure monitoring and DR(disaster recovery). Even at this moment, many users are actually using the infrastructure we are managing such as banking service, online shopping and video streaming. Even an instant failure may cause critical damage. We are always alert to the sudden unexpected situations so that we are able to address it. Understanding the infrastructure where the problem occurred is important when it comes to dealing with the issues. And it is the operations team, which is fully aware of the infrastructure the best. Of course, we are doing our best not to let the issues occur in the first place.

3. What was the reason you chose MegazoneCloud to work as a technician?

The biggest reason is that MegazoneCloud is an Asia #1 AWS partner. I majored in computer science and learned about AWS for the first time in university. I became interested in server and infrastructure. I wanted to work on AWS and therefore, looked for opportunities to make it happen. Then, I realized that MegazoneCloud was highly renowned in this area, and I decided to challenge myself. And now the more I have hands-on experiences and AWS at MegazoneCloud, the more I feel so glad that I decided to work at MegazoneCloud.

TaeMin Kim

Solution Architect

1. Could you briefly introduce yourself?

Hello, I am Taemin Kim, a Solutions Architect of the Mass Migration Center Team at MegazoneCloud. We carry out 4 steps of Discovery, Assessment & Consulting, Migration, and Operation to move existing on-premise environments to the Cloud. Through these 4 steps, we identify customer requirements, analyze the status, and transfer them to the cloud environment stably.

2. Which project do you think aligns with our key values, Trust & Communication?

(Trust & Communication, we excel in communicating with colleagues, partners, and customers to efficiently and consistently respond to changes in technology and customers’ requirements.)

I am currently working on a migration project for an enterprise company. Through weekly plannings, we respond organically to changes in customer requirements and provide a cost-effective and more advanced (automated) environment with various services of Cloud.

We are building trust with customers based on continuous testing and verification, and we train so that you can experience the cloud directly. For example, I built a coded Multi-Account environment and helped customers experience it themselves, which was much more effective than simple delivery. Through this process, not only has customers’ understanding of the cloud much improved, but they have also been able to increase their credibility by having a lot of conversations about the current situation and direction from the same perspective.
