About Us

MORAI is a company that develops a simulation platform for verifying the safety and reliability of autonomous driving systems. They provide a full-stack autonomous driving simulation solution, including the core engine, which they independently developed.
MORAI supports customers by accurately reproducing complex road environments in virtual space using digital twin technology based on precise map data (HD map), allowing them to precisely verify autonomous driving software and systems.
MORAI’s autonomous driving simulation reproduces digital twin environments that are identical to reality, including complex traffic situations, various weather conditions, and lighting conditions that vary by time of day, and can recreate tens of thousands of situations that occur on actual roads.

Challenge

• Need to secure GPU-centric, high-end computing resources to run autonomous simulators
• Long installation time and difficulty in preparing a PC when an on-site simulator competition is held in an existing local environment
• Limitations of resources for large-scale parallel autonomous driving simulation

Our Role

• Support for MORAI SIM Marketplace registration for global pools
• Well-Archived review to enhance AWS infrastructure security and optimize operational resources
• Propose GPU cost reduction and stable simulation through purchase proposal of Reserved Instance

Outcomes

• Utilizing AWS cloud to flexibly utilize GPU resources for preparing for new autonomous driving simulator competitions
• Establishing simulation support and operational environment for various competitions with AWS’s stable infrastructure base
• Expanding understanding of AWS infrastructure to include serverless and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Listing on AWS Marketplace to provide a foundation for global users to utilize MORAI SIM solutions and expand global market reach
